Our Story
We met at work about 10 years ago, though we did not work at the same office and only knew each other by name. We actually met in person at the Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino for the first time and I was not a fan of Pauls. I don’t think I have ever met a more cocky and confident man than Paul and I made it clear that I did not like him very much.
Fast forward a year or two and he was transferred to the same office I was in. He knew I did not like him very much and he was determined to change that and it wasn’t long before we became friends. After my marriage ended, Paul became my best friend. He was my rock and he was determined to make sure that I didn’t give up on myself. He showed me I had worth and that I was stronger then I thought and slowly I started to actually believe it. After we started dating, I was hesitant to introduce him to my kids because I wasn’t sure how they would react. The first time he met them he brought us our puppy Charlie and though it wasn’t always easy he never gave up on them or me. Life has thrown some struggles our way but when you are meant to be together you always find a way to overcome the difficult times and move forward better and stronger!
Flash forward several years and we had this great idea to start looking for a vacation home, somewhere we would both love. Somewhere he could walk outside and shoot all his guns and somewhere I could spend all day outside taking photos. Somewhere we could get all of our family together and make memories for years to come. We found that in Durango and Bayfield.
Now as we start to plan our wedding, we have decided to share our story with you. It hasn’t been a perfect happily ever after story but its our story and we are completely in love with each other and our family. We are excited to share our wedding with all of our friends and family who mean so very much to us!
